At Adaptable Recruitment we have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Assistant to join an Ever Growing Travel Specialist company in the Chester area.

Package: up to £25,000 DOE - (9-5pm - 37.5 hours) - 13 months Fixed Term Contract
Holidays: 22 days + bank (increasing 1 day per year)
Location: Chester - Fully Office based - Parking on site

Main Responsibilities to include:

• Responsible for supporting the Product Manager in negotiating market-leading rates, exclusive, offers and availability with suppliers
• Aiding in the creation of the product strategy for designated destinations, specifically, completing market research, competitor analysis and product performance reviews
• Supporting in the development and management of supplier relationships across a range of product types and across a range of international destinations
• Responsibility for ensuring suppliers pass across all information ready for loading into our booking systems
• Ensuring our Product remains competitive through analysis of rates versus competition, and the follow-up required with suppliersRole: Product Assistant (Far East)
• Helping to ensure all designated Product lines and suppliers adhere to full Health and Safety requirements
• Supporting the sales teams with product training and information

The Ideal Candidate:

• Ideally have previous experience working within a Product/Purchasing/Sales role, specialising in the Far East within a UK Tour Operator
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Manage a diverse range of duties at one time
• Ability to organise, prioritise and manage own workload efficiently to tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
