At Adaptable Recruitment we have an Exciting opportunity for Multiple National Account Managers to join a leading wholesaler in the Manchester area.
Package: up to £55,000 Depending on experience
Holidays: 24 days + birthday & bank holidays
Location: Manchester - Remote - Frequent Travel

Main Responsibilities to include:
Account Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with national accounts in the FMCG sector.
- Serve as the main point of contact for key retail accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key retail accounts to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive sales growth.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve growth targets and maximise sales opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and supply chain, to ensure smooth execution of promotions, product launches, and customer needs.
- Negotiate and finalise contracts, pricing, and terms with national accounts while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
Performance Management
- Manage sales forecast accuracy and inventory levels for national accounts, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to meet customer demands.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales, and market insights to senior management.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in national account management in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of developing and managing successful relationships with national retail accounts.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies in the FMCG industry.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and CRM software.
- Availability for frequent travel as needed.
