About the Role

As the HR Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the company's people strategy while remaining hands-on with day-to-day HR operations. Reporting directly to the Owner, this role offers the opportunity to drive change, implement HR best practices, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Lead and manage the HR team, ensuring a high level of service across the business
✔ Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
✔ Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance
✔ Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
✔ Drive engagement and company culture initiatives
✔ Ensure policies and procedures are up to date and in line with employment legislation
✔ Support training and development to enhance employee performance

About You

✅ Strong generalist HR experience in a leadership role
✅ Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
✅ Experience managing or mentoring a small HR team
✅ Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
✅ Proactive, adaptable, and able to influence at all levels
✅ CIPD Level 5 or above
